Morning Music ! Music to Start Your Day !
His first television appearance at the age of 10 encouraged Gallet in the pianistic path. He entered the Conservatoire de Paris at a very young age and followed Pierre Sancan's, then Yvonne Loriod's and Éliane Richepin's classes.
In 1987, he was unanimously awarded a 1st prize and followed the advanced training cycle. He remains a disciple of Teresa Llacuna. He has won the Viotti-Valsesia, Porto, Trapani, Menuhin Foundation international competitions.
He is in the line of pianists who had the privilege of meeting Olivier Messiaen very closely at a very young age. The French composer dedicated two excerpts from his Catalogue d'oiseaux to him.

Piano Concerto No. 1 in E Minor, Op. 11: I. Allegro maestoso · Pascal Gallet
The Piano Concerto No. 1 in E minor, Op. 11 by Frédéric Chopin, is a Piano Concerto composed in 1830.
The composer premiered it on October 11, 1830 in Warsaw, at the National Theater, during his farewell concert. In fact, he left the city for Vienna in the days that followed. The concert did not generate such enthusiastic reactions in the Polish press as for her Piano Concerto No. 2, because she was already preoccupied by the revolutionary effervescence that reigned in the capital: Poland would revolt against Russian domination a few weeks later. , November 29, 1830. Chopin will never see his native country again.
This concerto is, contrary to what its opus number seems to indicate, chronologically the composer's second, the Concerto in F minor, opus 21, having been composed a year earlier in 1829. The reason for this chronological inversion is not very clear ; it seems that Chopin, who took the two scores with him on his trip, offered them both to a publisher when he settled in Paris, but that only opus 11 was selected and edited at first, in 1833, because of the difficulty of Opus 21 (chronologically the first), which does not lend itself to "domestic use" by amateur pianists.
The work is dedicated to Friedrich Wilhelm Kalkbrenner, friend of the young composer in Paris.
